6:00 AM – Rise and Shine
The Arizona sun hasn’t quite peaked over the horizon when I grab my first cup of coffee. Working at Temperature Control, Inc. means early starts, especially during the scorching summer months when our services are most crucial.
7:00 AM – Morning Briefing
At the shop, we review today’s service calls. My route takes me through Catalina Foothills and Oro Valley, with six scheduled maintenance visits and two emergency calls already on the board.
8:30 AM – First Call
My first stop is a routine maintenance check in Casas Adobes. These preventative services are vital – they help catch small issues before they become major problems. I:
- Check refrigerant levels
- Clean or replace filters
- Inspect electrical connections
- Test thermostat function
12:00 PM – Emergency Response
Lunch break gets cut short by an urgent call from Flowing Wells. A family’s AC unit stopped working, and with temperatures climbing past 100°F, this becomes our priority.
3:00 PM – Afternoon Routes
The rest of my afternoon involves servicing units in Amphi. Between calls, I stock up on supplies and update service records on our digital system.
5:30 PM – Wrapping Up
Back at headquarters, I complete paperwork and prep the van for tomorrow. Another satisfying day keeping our desert community comfortable, one AC unit at a time.
The best part of working for Temperature Control, Inc.? Knowing that every repair and maintenance check helps our neighbors beat the intense Arizona heat. It’s not just about fixing machines – it’s about maintaining quality of life in our community.
