A call comes in from Davenport – a family’s AC unit stopped working overnight. In Florida, this qualifies as an urgent situation, especially for homes with elderly residents or young children. These moments remind me why I chose this profession.

A quick stop in Four Corners for lunch, while I review the afternoon schedule. The dispatcher alerts me about two maintenance calls in Auburndale.
1:30 PM – Routine Maintenance
The afternoon involves:

The day ends with a furnace inspection in Celebration. Even though Florida winters are mild, maintaining heating systems is crucial for those occasional cold snaps.

Back at headquarters, I complete paperwork, restock my truck, and prepare for tomorrow. Another satisfying day of helping our communities stay comfortable through Florida’s challenging climate.
